On the Yarn Tasting Menu: Juniper Moon Farm
Nestled in the rolling hills of central Virginia, you’ll find Juniper Moon Farm, a place where fine wool sheep and Angora goats produce some of the finest farm yarns in the United States. Founded by Susan Gibbs in 2007, Juniper Moon Farm was the first to apply the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model to yarn and spinning fibers.
In addition to the yarn from our own flock, Susan is the Creative Director of Juniper Moon Farm Yarns, a line of carefully sourced and thoughtfully crafted yarns that feature fibers grown in Peru, Argentina, Nepal, and Italy. Each yarn is paired with a curated collection of patterns by some of the hottest and up-and-coming designers.
Get a taste of that lush looking yarn you’ve eyed at the shop. We’ve set out a sampling cake of each yarn. We invite you to wind off enough for a swatch and get your needles, hooks, or looms going. Scroll down for all the details about the yarns on the tasting bar.
